A standout moment for our IGUHC project was the spotlight on the remarkable success of the ‘Professional Programme for Health Protection’ (PPHP), an innovative initiative established under the project’s umbrella. PPHP was meticulously designed to address systemic deficiencies through a pragmatic demand-driven capacity development approach.
During the session, our esteemed Health Advisors, Dr. Nandini Sharma and Dr. Keerti, eloquently presented the concept and elucidated the principle of traditional capacity-building within the development sector. They provided a comprehensive outlook towards India’s healthcare landscape and highlighted the transformative impact of PPHP. The objective was crystal clear: to facilitate knowledge exchange and champion the ideals of Universal Health Coverage, ultimately contributing to the advancement of healthcare accessibility and quality in India and beyond.
