NEWS: NHA organises Arogya Manthan
September 26-27, 2022: To mark the double anniversaries of AB PM-JAY and ABDM, NHA organized a two-day physical event, Arogya Manthan 2022 from 25th to 26th September 2022 at The Ashok, New Delhi, with support from GIZ.
This time, the celebrations were doubled with AB PM-JAY completing 4 years since its implementation on 23rd September 2018 and ABDM completing its first anniversary since its launch on 27th September 2021.
NHA celebrated its wonderful journey of four years of touching millions of lives via the two flagship schemes – Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY) and Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM).

The AB PM-JAY scheme is setting new definitions of success every year. With strong IT infrastructure, seamless processes, monitoring mechanisms, outreach efforts, and robust fraud control systems, PM-JAY has achieved the milestone of 3 crore hospital admissions before the completion of 4th year.
Since the launch of ABDM by the hon’ble prime minister Shri Narendra Modi, the scheme has been successful in building an inter-operable digital health ecosystem that is growing consistently with active participation from the public as well as private sector.

Implementations of all of these initiatives have resulted in immense learnings for NHA which were shared during the event. This event provided an excellent opportunity for the celebration of achievements thus far, stock-taking to inform the path ahead with experience sharing and learning from peers around the world. The two-day (physical) event comprised of formal and technical sessions, which brought together global and national experts from the healthcare sector along with Government officials and State Health Agency officials to deliberate and collaborate for drawing the future roadmap of the two schemes AB PM-JAY and ABDM respectively.
NHA also organized a Digital Health Expo wherein leading innovators from public and private sector across the country showcased their digital health solutions.
