National workshop on the Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana (RSBY) and Senior Citizen Health Insurance Scheme (SCHIS) organised in New Delhi in partnership with the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MoHFW)

The workshop was attended by more than 150 participants, including representatives from the NITI Aayog, Ministry of Textiles, state governments, insurance companies and development partners. It was decided that a sub-committee will be formed to identify IT and process related issues in RSBY and provide their recommendations to the Ministry to overcome those challenges. This sub-committee will comprise representatives of the state governments of Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh, GIZ and NIC.
