Workshop on “Moving towards Universal Health Coverage – Learning through South-South Partnerships” was organised in Kathmandu to provide a platform for South-South cooperation for joint learning and problem solving.

The workshop was organised by the GIZ on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). The workshop created a forum for practitioners and experts from various other countries and organisations (World Health Organization, World Bank, Department for International Development UK, Rockefeller Foundation, UNICEF, BRAC University, different national and international NGOs, etc.) to meet and discuss their strategies and pathways towards UHC. The core concept of the workshop was to facilitate South-South Partnerships was highly appreciated by participants and country delegations.
