IGUHC organises series of capacity building workshops in Kerala
Capacity building workshops on ‘Quality under PM-JAY’ in Kerala were organised by GIZ and the National Health Authority, in 3 districts of Kerala- Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum), Kozhikode and Kochi from Oct 31 – Nov 4, 2022. The objective of these workshops was to interact and strengthen the district implementation units of the state and other stakeholders of the state health department on the quality aspects of the PM-JAY scheme.
In alignment with IGUHC’s focus areas and to sensitize and enable the hospitals to adopt quality systems and the PM-JAY certifications, capacity building workshops for district hospitals and empanelled healthcare providers were envisaged in the state of Kerala. The IGUHC project took up the initiative of technically supporting the National Health Authority (NHA) and Quality Council of India (QCI) in planning, organising, and conducting capacity building workshops on Quality under PM-JAY.
