NEWS 2: Orientation and Training Workshop on Ayushman Bharat PMJAY for Empanelled Hospitals of the Ministry of Railways
GIZ India’s Indo-German Programme on Universal Health Coverage (IGUHC) supported the Hospital Orientation Division, National Health Authority (NHA) in organizing a two-day orientation and training workshop for empanelled hospitals of the Ministry of Railways on Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY) on the 23rd and 24th of March 2023.
The intent of the workshop was to provide a platform to discuss the different aspects of the implementation of PMJAY and Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) in the empanelled hospitals of the Ministry of Railways and established that the railways being a rational network can add a lot of value to the beneficiaries.
Technical sessions on Beneficiary Identification System (BIS 1.0), Transaction Management System (TMS 1.0), Claim Adjudication, Health Benefit Package, Standard Treatment Guidelines, Quality, Grievance Redressal System, and Call Centre Operations were organized. The best practices were shared by selected hospitals as part of the workshop.
